about

The things I make are inspired by the peculiar beauty of imperfection and decay. By the grounding energy of standing beside the ocean, by the magic of the waxing and waning moon. By death, rebirth, and transformation.

Each piece I hold in my hands is a celebration of resilience... of inner strength... and the comfort of human connection.

To be fully present in the act of making is a sacred part of my commitment to this ancient craft. In a society that favors cheap, mass-produced, disposable things (delivered to your doorstep the next day)... owning something that's been made *entirely* by hand is really, truly special.

Jewelry may at times feels trivial in the midst of the seriousness of it all, but wearing special objects close to the body has always been - and will always be - so deeply human, and so profoundly personal.
Talismans, protective amulets, reminders of things we've overcome, moments of sparkle and beauty in dark times, symbols of relationships that sustain us...
Jewelry is a faithful companion.
Something to hold on to. Something to get us through.

When I’m working on a new creation, I’m in intimate contact with the raw materials - wax, metal and gemstones - making hundreds of tiny, thoughtful decisions about how I want the finished piece to look. But more importantly, as I hold a work-in-progress in my hands, I get to infuse it with the BEST possible vibes. I want you to feeeeeeeeel that powerful and loving energy when you wear it!!

In the spirit of good energy, I strive to align my work as an artist with the desire to fight against racial, social & political injustice. Thank you for joining me on that path. In choosing to wear a lovingly hand crafted jewel, you've made a statement about the more thoughtful, equitable and responsible human world you intend to support.

Jewelry is magic - if it lights you up, you can carry that light wherever you go. And the world needs your light now more than ever.

Land Acknowledgement:

My work is created on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. After I sculpt the pieces in wax, they are transformed into precious metal by an artisan casting studio located in Vancouver - situated on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
